Juliana da Silva & Maria Mazzotta live in Lich

Two outstanding artists will delight on stage this September as part of the Kultursommer Mittelhessen in Lich!

Juliana da Silva will perform today at 20:00 in the Lich cinema Traumstern. When da Silva stands on stage and ignites a brilliant jam fireworks between jazz, samba and bossa nova, there is no doubt: This woman sets the tone even when she sways silently and as if oblivious to the beat next to her. Maria Mazzotta plays next Saturday, September 17, 20:00 at the Bezalel Synagogue Cultural Center. She is considered one of the most impressive and diverse voices of southern Italy. Her latest album “Amoreamaro” (Bitter Love) is an intense and passionate reflection on the different facets of love from a female point of view: from the greatest, the tender to the possessive and the destructive love. She is accompanied by the virtuoso jazz accordionist Vince Abbracciante. Their music has a strong emotional density, seems almost therapeutic. Let the duo touch you.
