He is also in demand as a composer and arranger, where he draws on his rich pool of influences to create a fascinating soundscape that is both accessible and sophisticated. He has written works for a wide variety of ensembles, from solo piano to symphony orchestra, worked on commissions such as the music for the opening concert of the World Economic Forum in Davos or arrangements for the Orchestre de chambre de Paris, Oscar-winner Rachel Portman or violinist Eldbjørg Hemsing.
In autumn 2024, Allhoff will release his tenth album with works by J.S. Bach, which is also his first purely classical recording.
