Mario Biondi’s voice alone sounds like pure soul and soul jazz. The sensual grooves combined with the incredibly soulful, unique voice give his international productions an incomparable charm that warms the heart. In Italy, Mario Biondi is already known in every corner of the country and can call several gold records his own. Now the Italian is ready to enter the international market and is already celebrating some successes here in Germany. Mario’s new album is a record that tells the story of his career so far, but also of how Mario will be in the future. There is the “early” Mario, pronounced in jazz and soul, but also new sounds that are not so much in line with current trends, but have a more grown-up and international sound. There are collaborations with “old” and “new” friends, international artists such as the English band Incognito, the opera trio Il Volo, but also the musicians with whom Mario celebrated successes in the mid-2000s (The Highfive Quintet/ the successful album “Hand full of Soul”), an interaction with Fabrizio Bosso’s Spiritual Trio and his current band, which accompanies him all over the world
(150 shows in over 40 countries).
