Fjarill: Release concert on 23.08.23 for the new album „Walden“! (Release: 01. 09. 2023)

Fjarill will be on tour with their new album „Walden“ from September 2023!

The album will be released on September 1, 2023! The release concert will take place on August 29 in the Kleine Saal of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and is already sold out! Be there – you can get tickets here.

There will be a foretaste in two days, on 23. 08. 23 Fjarill in the duo will give a radio concert at NDR Kultur extra with video live transmission! They will start at 1:00 p. m.

„Walden” is colourful, it is a lively, rhythmic being, it has the temperament of the South African steppe and the Swedish-dreamy lightness that is also produced by the two fellow musicians at their side: on bass we hear Omar Rodriguez Calvo (triosence, Ramon Valle or Tingvall Trio) and on drums Jürgen Spiegel (Vladyslav Sendecki or Tingvall Trio). With their own powerful texts, but also with poetry by Pär Lagerkvist, Nelly Sachs and Goethe, Hanmari and Aino tell of childhood memories and insights in old age, of joie de vivre and longing for peace, of diversity and togetherness, of home and a constant new departure.
