Christian Brückner and Martin Auer – New Project “100 Miles”

12.05.2025

Dear music enthusiasts,
We are finally pleased to announce that Christian Brückner and Martin Auer will be honoring the legendary jazz musician Miles Davis on his 100th anniversary in 2026 with their new project “100 Miles”.

On May 26, 1926, a milestone in jazz history saw the light of day in Illinois: Miles Davis. He picked up a trumpet for the first time at the age of nine and went on to become one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century and perhaps of all time. 100 years later, on the occasion of Miles Davis’ anniversary, Christian Brückner and Martin Auer have set themselves the task of honoring Miles Davis on his 100th anniversary with their new project “100 Miles” and shedding new light on his diversity, genius and ambivalence, both musically and as a personality.

They have already demonstrated their passion for jazz in the productions “The Ballad of Robin Hood”, “The Canterville Ghost”, “The Jungle Book” and “Down into the Maelström”. Their storytelling concerts are appealing for young and old and they combine literature with music.

With their new project, you can also look forward to an evening that celebrates the master of the trumpet and composition with music and humor!
