We are more than happy to announce that the new single “Can You Speak My Language” from our latest Artist Sera Kalo will be released in one week from now on 31.03.2023!

Sera Kalo is a U.S. Afro-Caribbean musician and songwriter. She grew up in a Caribbean home in Connecticut steeped in a mix of musical styles, from her St. Lucian mother’s soulful singing of old hymns and Motown classics to her Dominican father’s love of reggae, cadence and calypso. From a young age, the diverse musical influences of her childhood home combined with the suburban big city sound and various alternative style mixes shaped her love for music.

Today the artist lives in Berlin and has found her niche in the multicultural identity of the big city. Standing in search of the answer to the question “Can You Speak My Language”?

“Can You Speak My Language” explores the power that lies within vulnerability and facing one’s challenges. It also touches on the universal human desire to feel understood in the world we live in. In doing so, the single begins with a tense and expansive character that gradually builds into an uplifting and dynamic soundscape of acoustic-electronic fanfare. “Can You Speak My Language” is a testament to the transformative power of vulnerability and the importance of connection and understanding in our lives.

„Can You Speak My Language” – the first single from Sera Kalo’s new EP „SERENDiPITY” (REL: 04/28/2023), this will also be part of her new album “eXante“ (REL: 06/23/2023)!
