Dejan Terzić AXIOM: “GROW” (o-tone music / Edel Kultur) – release: April 10, 2026

Grow is now the third CD by the Axiom Quartet. It was partly recorded live on 3 May 2024 during a concert at the beautiful Teatro Reana del Royale in Udine. ‘Partly live’ means that two of the tracks come directly from the concert, while the rest were recorded earlier that same day on the same stage. It is a complete live set of music by Axiom – no overdubs, no post-production, no corrections. The band, pure and simple, in real time.

At first, Dejan was enthusiastic about the idea of a live recording – after all, he hadn’t released a live album in decades. Once again, we owe our thanks to Ermanno Basso, who encouraged us to take this step. Dejan was overwhelmed by the result.

The fact that the band has been playing together for over ten years has deeply influenced their musical understanding, their interaction and their shared approach to playing and improvisation. We had the privilege of developing and exploring these compositions in thirteen concerts before recording them.
