The new quartet of Adam Bałdych — one of the most original violinists on the global jazz scene — brings together outstanding stars of European jazz in a shared project.

The Adam Bałdych European Quartet consists of four distinctive personalities from the world of improvised music, whose work shapes the face of contemporary jazz: Polish violinist and composer Adam Bałdych, Italian bandoneon player Daniele di Bonaventura, Swedish pianist Jacob Karlzon, and French double bassist Michel Benita.

Their new album “Endless” will be released by ACT – august 2026.

„Endless” is a musical story one wants to return to again and again. Adam Bałdych opts for a highly unusual combination of instruments, seeking dialogue among four cultures that meet in one place and time.

Each artist possesses their own unique musical world. Together, in a creative dialogue, they build a beautiful soundscape that combines the unrestrained freedom of jazz with the precision of tone and form characteristic of classical music.

The meeting of this new quartet results in music full of contrasts: moments of calm intertwine with emotional tension, while virtuosic improvisations and bold experiments construct a modern narrative.

This is music that not only tells a story — it also responds to the needs of the contemporary world, offering an extraordinary experience of four virtuosos from different generations speaking a shared language of beauty and refinement
