Her success as frontwoman of the band NEOH brought the singer Fee Mietz into the raging waters of the music industry early on. Record deal, big stages, performances with The Hives, Culcha Candela, Nena, Wir sind Helden. Influence, guidelines and the pressure to write the new big hit. But the dictatorship of funcionality under the banner of mainstream taste does not fit to what Fee stands for at all:
personality and authenticity. She pressed the stop button, got out and concentrated on the most elementary part of music again: writing songs alone with the acoustic guitar at home. Street music, living room concerts. Everything direct and close. Doing everything herself, from booking to performance. Back to the roots, to be able to grow again. To spreading her wings again.
