The new Tingvall Trio album “PAX” #2 in the German jazz charts August 2025 and #31 in the German pop charts

For more than two decades, the Tingvall Trio has been one of the defining voices of European jazz. Their albums have won eight Jazz Awards in gold and one in platinum, and their latest album, “Birds” (Skip Records, 2023), reached No. 1 on the German jazz charts. Now the trio is continuing its success story: their new album “Pax” (Skip Records, August 1, 2025) entered the German jazz charts at No. 2 in August 2025 and the German pop charts at No. 31.

The album title was chosen deliberately: in times of social polarization and global crises, the trio wants to use its music to send a message of peace. “Pax” combines touching ballads such as “A Promise” with rousing numbers such as “Cruisin,” expressing the trio’s entire emotional range.

Starting in fall 2025, the Tingvall Trio will once again tour Europe to present “Pax” live—an album that not only inspires musically, but also conveys a powerful message.
