Marcela Arroyo & Quique Sinesi: Reflejos (Release: March 13th, 2026)

Quique Sinesi’s music awakens a world of deep emotions, images, and memories within me. It is as if his guitar whispers stories into my ear that somehow belong to me. Inspired by his heartfelt melodies, I began to write short poems, creating an intimate dialogue between his music and my words.

This process became a refuge, a shared space of exploration. A place where nuevo tango and Argentine folklore coexist in the present. A place where genres remain alive and continue to evolve — with roots in tradition and hearts in the clouds, a bridge between the past and the future.

This album reflects that journey. It is an echo of our light and shadows, our joy and sorrow, and is marked by the valuable collaboration with Markus Stockhausen. These songs invite us to pause and reflect, reminding us that music is a sacred place where the soul always feels at home.

Our music has its roots in Buenos Aires, something that touches us deeply and remains a constant journey of discovery for me. It is a process of rediscovering the authentic essence of the place where we were born and raised, combined with an inevitable universal openness that naturally arises when one embraces improvisation.

We allow ourselves to be inspired by the influences we receive, expanding and reimagining these roots. Working with Marcela is very special to me because she is deeply connected to our shared heritage, open to diverse sounds, and constantly striving for the finest musical and lyrical expression.

We were also fortunate to collaborate with a musician we greatly admire: Markus Stockhausen. It has been a true pleasure to work with Marcela on this project, and we hope you enjoy the result as much as we enjoyed creating it.
