biography

Christian Brückner (Narrator)
Christian Brückner, born in Silesia in 1943, grew up in Cologne. Engagements at the theater, continuous work for radio and television. In 1990 he was awarded the Grimme Prize Special in Gold. The focus of his work today: public literature readings, often in a musical context. 2000 Founded the audio book publisher ‘parlando’ with his wife Waltraut. 2005 Awarded the German Audiobook Prize for the entire program. In 2012, Christian Brückner was awarded the special prize for his life’s work, in 2017 he received the Honorary Award of the German Record Critics and in 2018 the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class.

Martin Auer (idea, conception, production)
Martin Auer, originally from Chiemgau, studied jazz trumpet and composition/arrangement in Mannheim and Berlin (with Stephan Zimmermann and Gerard Presencer). He has been teaching jazz trumpet at the University of Music in Leipzig since fall 2008. Martin Auer lives with his wife and daughter in Berlin Kreuzberg. Martin Auer has been teaching jazz trumpet at the University of Music in Leipzig since the fall of 2008 and has taught with numerous ensembles, including the Federal Jazz Orchestra and the State Youth Jazz Orchestra of Saxony/Saarland/Berlin.
